In the range of 5000m above sea level, the average air pressure will decrease by 7.7-10.5kPa every 1000m. The temperature rise is increased by 3%-10%, so when the motor is running in the plateau area, it is necessary to enhance its temperature rise level.

When the altitude is in the range of 1000-5000m, and the maximum ambient temperature is not specified, it is considered that if the reduction of the maximum ambient temperature is not enough to compensate for the reduction of the cooling effect caused by the increase in altitude, the rated output power of the motor should be corrected.

The reduction of ambient air temperature at high altitude can partially or completely compensate for the increase in temperature rise caused by the reduction of air pressure in the operation of electrical products.
