The Basic Structure Of The Motor
(1) Stator (stationary part)
1. Stator iron core
Function: Part of the magnetic circuit of the motor, and place the stator winding on it.
Structure: The stator core is generally made of 0.35~0.5 mm thick silicon steel sheet with an insulating layer on the surface, punched and stacked, and there are evenly distributed grooves punched in the inner circle of the core to embed the stator winding.
There are the following stator core geometry types:
Semi-closed groove: The efficiency and power factor of the motor are high, but the winding embedding and insulation are more difficult. Generally used in small low-voltage motors.
Semi-open groove: can be embedded forming winding, generally used in large and medium low voltage motors. The so-called formed winding, that is, the winding, can be insulated in advance before being put into the tank.
Open groove: used to embed the forming winding, the insulation method is convenient, mainly used in high-voltage motors.
2. Stator winding
Function: It is the circuit part of the motor, which introduces three-phase alternating current to generate a rotating magnetic field.
Structure: It is connected by three windings with an electrical angle of 120° and symmetrical arrangement in space, and each coil of these windings is embedded in each slot of the stator according to a certain law.
There are three main insulation items of the stator winding: (to ensure the reliable insulation between the conductive parts of the winding and the iron core and the reliable insulation between the winding itself).
(1) Ground insulation: insulation between the stator winding and the stator core.
(2) Interphase insulation: insulation between the stator windings of each phase.
(3) Inter-turn insulation: insulation between each wire turn of each phase stator winding.
Wiring inside the motor junction box:
There is a terminal block in the motor junction box, and the six wire ends of the three-phase winding are arranged in two rows up and down, and it is stipulated that the upper row of three terminal piles arranged from left to right is numbered 1 (U1), 2 (V1), 3 (W1), and the lower three terminal piles are arranged from left to right with the numbers 6 (W2), 4 (U2), 5 (V2), and the three-phase winding is connected into a star connection or a delta connection. All manufacturing and maintenance should be arranged according to this serial number.
