Mechanical Failure Of The Motor
When the motor shaft is bent, the assembly is not good, the bearing is faulty, etc., the motor current will increase, the copper loss and mechanical friction loss will increase, and the motor will overheat.
4) Reasons why the motor overheats due to poor ventilation and heat dissipation:
a. The ambient temperature is too high, so that the inlet air temperature is high.
b. There are debris blocking the air inlet, so that the air intake is not smooth, resulting in a small air intake
c. There is too much dust inside the motor, which affects the heat dissipation
d. The fan is damaged or installed backwards, resulting in no wind or small air volume
e. There is no wind shield or no wind deflector in the end cover of the motor, resulting in the motor without a certain wind path
