Three-phase motors are classified according to mechanical characteristics

(1) Ordinary cage asynchronous motor is suitable for constant speed operation with small capacity and small change in slip rate. Such as blowers, centrifugal pumps, lathes and other occasions with low starting torque and constant load.
(2) The deep groove cage type is suitable for places with medium capacity and slightly larger starting torque than the well-through cage asynchronous motor.
(3) Double cage asynchronous motor is suitable for medium and large cage rotor motors. The starting torque is large. But the maximum torque is slightly smaller. It is suitable for constant speed loads such as conveyor belts, compressors, pulverizers, mixers, reciprocating pumps, etc. that require large starting torque.
(4) The special double-cage asynchronous motor is made of high-impedance conductor material. It is characterized by a large starting torque. The maximum torque is small and the slip rate is large. Speed adjustment is possible. Suitable for punching machines, cutting machines and other equipment.
(5) Wound rotor asynchronous motor is suitable for places with large starting torque and small starting current, such as conveyor belts, compressors, calenders and other equipment.
